Spectacular Cases from the Residents

 

In the many hours we spent in the ER, sometimes we are surprised by spectacular cases, either because they are unusual, either because of their rarity or even the originality of its presentation ... In this session will be presented the spectacular cases from the residents on the emergency surgery, with the election of the most spectacular case by the audience. So please submit your abstracts to this session until 25th April 2011.

Rules for submission of abstracts:

1. Abstracts must mention, the brief clinical history, exams and treatment carried out and a brief justification for participation in this session of spectacular cases. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
2. Abstracts should be sent electronically to congresso@internoscirurgia.org until 25th April 2011.
3. Authors will be notified electronically of acceptance of the abstract until 30th April 2011.
4. The cases should be sent electronically to the Organizing Committee, until 3rd May 2011, in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Each case must be accompanied by four questions to the audience (for electronic voting), interspersed throughout the presentation.
5. The presentation of each case should not exceed 10 minutes.
